Principal’s Message

Dear Parents,

Welcome to Liwa International School for Girls!  We are excited that you have chosen LISG for your daughter(s) and on behalf of all the staff, we are glad you’ve joined the Liwa family. 

I am honored to serve LISG as the Principal. The past three years here at LISG as Vice-Principal have given me many opportunities to demonstrate a deep understanding of the operations of the school. I have a Master’s Degree in Science Education from Montana State University, and nine years of experience teaching and leading in ADEK schools. Prior to this, I worked for four years in the United States of America as an Educational Consultant and Department Head.  I have a passion for education and take a great deal of pride in the achievements of all the students have I worked with. 

At LISG, we strive to provide an outstanding international education that challenges and inspires our students to excel. We believe in an approach that instills a love of learning where students can thrive and achieve their very best as independent learners. We understand that children are different and their strengths lie in different areas – academic, athletic, and creative to name a few. Our students will be taught to analyze, reason and reflect, giving them the skills needed to progress and to be successful in any area. For that reason, we provide a child-centered approach to education, taking into consideration each child’s differentiated needs and individual learning styles.  

Our faculty, staff, and administration are focused on providing a quality learning experience for all students through the various curricular and extracurricular opportunities available.Our teachers are hired internationally through reputable recruitment companies to ensure we appoint staff of the highest standard and with the right blend of enthusiasm, knowledge, and experience to help our students achieve their best.  Our focus as educators will continue to be on preparing students for college and careers by developing essential skills and behaviors in a safe, supportive environment. Our teachers provide relevant, engaging content while building strong relationships with all students and families.

Our partnership with our families and community is an integral part of the success of LISG. We encourage you to become involved, whether through our Parent volunteers, participation in school trips, Parent Council, or one of the many committees aimed at improving our campus. Your feedback and support are essential to our continued improvement.

I look forward to an exciting new academic year ahead and about the partnerships, we will build this school year.  Go Liwa Lynx!
